From the moment a family arrives, there is an expectation that they will be a willing participant in all the planned events.  For much of the day, the parents are in educational sessions that discuss mutual concerns.   While the parents are in those sessions, the children are involved in a children’s program where each child receives individualized care.

However, it is the intermittent gatherings, throughout the day and evening, that set the Family Enrichment Weekend design apart.  These gatherings are led by a talented staff of professionals who use music and performance to give each parent and child the opportunity to laugh, play, and relax.  The staff uses the gatherings to teach parents how to help their ch

 

For children, this becomes a place where they are understood and valued.  There is no expectation that they will be anyone other than themselves.

For parents, this is a place to see their children succeed and to implement those simple lessons that will change the face of their family life.
